  • Live In Care Workers

    We are looking for live in care workers to work with a wide variety of clients. Elderly clients, people with acquired spinal injuries and clients with physical and learning disabilities. Experience is preferred but not essential as all our care workers will be fully trained. You will need to be warm, friendly, enthusiastic, reliable and a patient person who enjoys working in the care sector. You will need to be competent in housekeeping and cooking with good social and communication skills. Driving licence is a distinct advantage as most clients will have a vehicle you will be expected to drive.

    You will be required to support our clients in their own homes with all aspects of their lives. You will need to carry out personal care tasks, shopping, cooking, cleaning and taking part in community and social activities. You must be eligible to work in the UK and must have your own accommodation to stay in for your weeks off. This is not self-employed work. Length of time Working at a clients will vary. You will remain at the client’s house apart from short daily breaks. Flexibility may be required as some short assignments also arise. We provide care mainly in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Middlesex and parts of London.

    Opportunity to study for NVQ qualifications.

    All staff must have a New Criminal Records Disclosure and references will be required. Training is in St Albans this is also compulsory.

  • Care Jobs For Overseas Workers

    We are currently recruiting caring individuals from outside of the UK. We are looking for experienced care workers to join our fantastic Live In care team. You will reside in the client’s home for a period of between 1 and 12 weeks depending on their need and circumstances. You could be working with people who have complex needs, elderly clients, people with acquired spinal injuries and clients with physical and learning disabilities.

    The requirements:
    • Some care work experience is essential
    • Flexibility and able to adapt to any given situation
    • Good understanding of written and oral English
    • You will need to be warm, friendly, enthusiastic, reliable and a patient person who enjoys working in the care sector
    • You will need to be competent in housekeeping and cooking with good social and communication skills
    • A Driving license is desirable
    • Able to attend an induction week (5 days) in St Albans, Hertfordshire
    • New recruits must be willing to undertake immediate DBS check (CRB), unless a valid one available on the update service
